Station Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the delivery station ensuring smooth processing, sorting, and dispatching of packages.
• Manage and lead a team of delivery associates, process assistants, and coordination with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs).
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safe working environment for all associates and delivery staff.
• Monitor delivery metrics such as on-time delivery, package condition, and route efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and implement lean tools to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including transport, finance, HR, IT, and customer service for operational excellence.
• Conduct training, performance reviews, and motivate staff for high performance and engagement.
• Handle administrative responsibilities including staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to meet operational demands.
• Manage customer experience by ensuring package delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
• Lead change management initiatives and adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in managing last mile delivery operations or similar logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to engage and develop workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under time-sensitive conditions.
• Knowledge of route planning, delivery management systems, and logistics software.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
