Job Title: HR Executive – Civil / Construction Experience: 2–3 Years Location: Bangalore Industry: Civil Construction Salary Range: 25000-35000 Gender: Male / Female Job Summary: The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting HR operations specifically for the civil and construction sector. The role includes recruitment for site and office positions, managing attendance and labor records, coordinating compliance, and supporting employee relations across project sites. The ideal candidate should have experience handling HR processes in a construction or project-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Staffing Handle recruitment for civil engineers, supervisors, QS, safety officers, site staff, and labor categories. Screen resumes, conduct telephonic interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers. Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation for new employees. Site HR Operations Maintain manpower data for all project sites. Coordinate daily attendance, labour deployment, and shift schedules. Assist site managers in resolving labour issues and workforce challenges. HR Administration Maintain employee files, ID cards, and HR records. Manage leave records, attendance registers, and time sheets. Support payroll by submitting accurate attendance and overtime data. Compliance & Legal Coordination Ensure compliance with labor laws (ESI, PF, minimum wages). Coordinate with contractors for labor compliance documents. Maintain statutory documentation required for audits. Employee Relations Resolve basic employee queries regarding HR policies. Assist in handling grievances at sites and maintain healthy employee relations. Support in organizing training sessions, safety meetings, and employee welfare activities. Safety & Site Coordination Coordinate with safety officers for toolbox talks and safety compliance. Support HR initiatives that improve site culture and productivity. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or MBA in HR / Personnel Management. 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in civil construction or project-based industries. Good understanding of recruitment for technical and site roles. Strong knowledge of attendance, labor laws, and HR documentation. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, HR systems, and email communication. Preferred Attributes: Experience working with site teams or multiple project locations. Ability to handle field visits and site HR responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Ability to work under deadlines and handle labor-related challenges.
