Position Overview

HR Executive

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with department heads to meet staffing needs.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Promote employee engagement through regular feedback, surveys, and the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and well-being.

Performance Management

  • Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring that reviews are completed on time and in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training and development programs aimed at improving employee skills and performance.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Assist in administering payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, leave policies, and other welfare initiatives.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave data.

HR Administration

  • Support in the day-to-day administration of HR activities, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and preparing HR reports.
  • Assist in organizing HR-related events, employee engagement activities, and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Masters degree (MBA in HR or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HR executive or similar role, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and labor regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
