Job Description

Job Summary:

Atchayam Trust is seeking an experienced HR & Admin Manager to oversee recruitment, employee relations and administrative functions for both the trust office and multiple shelter locations. This role is responsible for hiring, grievance handling, payroll coordination, compliance and facility management to ensure smooth operations across all shelters. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of HR experience, strong leadership skills and a willingness to travel for shelter visits.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

HR & Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to hire staff for office and shelters.
  • Handle job postings, screening, interviewing and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts and HR documentation.

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:

  • Address staff grievances, disciplinary actions and ensure conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work culture aligned with Atchayam Trust’s values.
  • Implement employee engagement and retention strategies.

Payroll & Compliance:

  • Manage attendance tracking, leave records, and coordinate with finance for payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and NGO-specific regulations.
  • Conduct periodic HR audits and policy updates.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee office and shelter administration, including facility maintenance.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively at shelters.
  • Ensure shelters have necessary supplies, hygiene and safety protocols.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Prepare monthly HR reports on recruitment, payroll, and grievances.
  • Travel to shelters as needed for employee and facility assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • MSW(HR) or MBA in Human Resource Management (Mandatory).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, and administration.
  • Male candidates are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance and payroll management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel across multiple shelter locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
