Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Staff Supervision & Management

  • Supervise, train, and allocate duties to housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and handle staff grievances.
  • Conduct regular performance checks and provide feedback.

2. Cleaning & Maintenance Oversight

  • Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas such as rooms, offices, washrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the concerned department.
  • Ensure proper use and upkeep of cleaning equipment and machinery.

3. Quality & Hygiene Control

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
  • Implement deep-cleaning schedules and periodic audits.
  • Monitor pest control and waste management practices.

4. Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials, chemicals, linens, and consumables.
  • Raise requisitions for supplies and ensure cost control.
  • Ensure proper storage and safe handling of chemicals as per guidelines.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, Security, and other departments.
  • Attend daily briefings and update management on housekeeping status.
  • Handle guest/client complaints related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure staff use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Train staff on fire safety, chemical handling, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily checklists, inspection reports, and logbooks.
  • Submit reports on staff performance, material usage, and incidents.
  • Assist management in audits and inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
