Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of guest rooms and public areas are consistently met according to hotel policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff
• Assign duties and inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and quality standards
• Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready according to occupancy and guest requests
• Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff on procedures, safety, and service standards
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; report shortages
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments for room status and repairs
• Prepare daily reports on room status, staff attendance, and performance
• Assist in scheduling staff and managing workloads efficiently

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (hotel management certification preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,458.37 - ₹14,110.27 per month
