About The Opportunity
Leading organisation in the healthcare delivery sector operating a multi-speciality hospital network in North India. We deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and critical care—committed to clinical excellence, patient safety and regulatory compliance.We are hiring an experienced Hospital Administrator to lead day-to-day hospital operations at our Amritsar, Punjab facility (On-site). This role drives operational efficiency, quality accreditations and strong financial performance for a busy multi-speciality centre.Role: Hospital Administrator (Multi-Speciality) — Amritsar, Punjab (On-site)Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all hospital operations including inpatient/outpatient services, allied diagnostics and emergency care to ensure seamless patient flow and service delivery.
- Drive quality, patient-safety and accreditation initiatives (NABH) through policy implementation, audits and corrective action plans.
- Manage financial performance: budgeting, cost control, revenue cycle optimisation and monthly P&L accountability.
- Oversee Hospital Information System (HIS), medical records, billing, insurance claim processing and MIS reporting to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with clinical leadership, vendors, insurers and local regulators; negotiate contracts and service agreements.
- Develop staffing plans, operational SOPs and emergency preparedness protocols to maintain high availability and compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience leading operations in a multi-speciality hospital or large clinical facility.
- Strong record in achieving/maintaining NABH or similar healthcare accreditations.
- Hands-on experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and revenue cycle processes.
- Demonstrated capability in budgeting, P&L management and cost-control in healthcare settings.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and patient-safety protocols.
- Effective stakeholder management with clinicians, payers, vendors and government authorities.
Preferred
- Certification or training in healthcare management or hospital administration.
- Experience with HIS implementations and clinical IT integration projects.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous-improvement methodologies applied to healthcare.
