About the Role

MrMed is looking for an experienced Finance Head / Finance Controller with strong exposure to startup or e-commerce environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and streamlined financial operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of revenue management, receivables, payables, taxation, compliance, financial planning, and process improvement within a fast-paced, high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities1. Revenue & Receivables Management

• Ensure timely revenue recognition across all channels.
• Oversee end-to-end reconciliation of B2C, B2B, and marketplace/customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure structured follow-ups for outstanding receivables.
• Supervise customer refund processes to ensure quick and accurate closures.

2. Vendor & Payables Management

• Maintain high accuracy in vendor invoicing and documentation.
• Regularly perform vendor ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure timely vendor payments as per agreed schedules.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor finance queries and ensure prompt resolution.

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, sales, and expense reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct inputs for MIS reporting.
• Monitor variance analysis and highlight deviations in financial performance.

4. Banking & Cash Flow Operations

• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
• Manage daily cash inflow and outflow planning.
• Coordinate with banks and payment gateways when required.

5. Statutory Compliance & Audit Coordination

• Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely statutory filings.

6. Expense Management & Cost Control

• Ensure timely booking of expenses with proper verification and supporting documents.
• Track and analyze monthly expenses and highlight unusual variances.
• Implement strong cost-control mechanisms across the organization.

7. Process Excellence & Internal Controls

• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure process compliance across teams.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements and implement enhancements.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve accuracy and efficiency.

8. Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with internal teams, management, vendors, auditors, and external partners.
• Ensure timely responses to all financial queries and requests.
• Support business teams with financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements

• CA (Preferred) or senior finance professional with strong experience in full-spectrum finance.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in e-commerce or startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in receivables, payables, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in financial tools, ERP, and spreadsheets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
