About the Role

The Healthcare Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of medical and non-medical supplies, ensuring timely availability of materials, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting cost-efficient purchase operations across centers.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for medical consumables, equipment, and non-medical supplies.
• Maintain vendor database and ensure timely purchase order (PO) release.
• Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Conduct vendor performance reviews and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Inventory & Material Planning

• Work closely with centers and warehouse teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Monitor inventory, consumption trends, and initiate replenishment as required.
• Prevent stock-outs and manage emergency purchase requirements.

Cost Control & Compliance

• Ensure procurement occurs within approved budgets and guidelines.
• Compare quotations, prepare cost analysis, and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and documentation standards.

Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with operations, quality, finance, and clinical teams for seamless supply operations.
• Track PO status, delivery timelines, and update internal stakeholders.
• Handle invoice verification, GRN issues, and coordinate with finance for payment clearance.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain purchase records, vendor contracts, quotations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports on purchases, pricing, vendor performance, and inventory health.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in healthcare/hospitals/labs.
• Strong understanding of medical consumables, equipment, and healthcare procurement processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase management tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹34,442.81 - ₹39,262.31 per month
