## **About the Role**
As **Head of Startup Incubation Venture Ops**, you will architect and lead the incubation, acceleration, and operational scaling of early-stage startups under Tradetronix s strategic investment and innovation umbrella. You will build the entire support ecosystem physical and digital for nurturing startups across deeptech, logistics, finance, climate-tech, ship-tech, real estate, AI, and other verticals.
This is a builder s role, ideal for someone with deep venture ops knowledge, founder empathy, and operational experience in helping companies go from 0 to 1 and beyond.
## **Role Clarity Key Responsibilities**
### 1. **Startup Incubation Acceleration Program Design**
Build and operate a structured incubation program (12 18 months) with modules on market access, product validation, funding, compliance, GTM, and global expansion
Curate expert mentors, coaches, and service partners across verticals
Design sector-specific sprints and hackathons aligned with Tradetronix s consulting and investment arms
### 2. **Venture Operations Management**
Set up standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and templates for HR, finance, compliance, tech, product, sales, and investor reporting for all incubated startups
Provide embedded operational teams or shared services (HR, legal, CFO, GTM, AI automation) for selected portfolio companies
Integrate AI tools, dashboards, and process automation across startup ops
### 3. **Founder Onboarding, Coaching Fundraising Enablement**
Onboard 25 40 startups in year one across key sectors
Facilitate coaching, milestone tracking, and exit planning for each startup
Guide founders on pitch readiness, term sheets, investor conversations, and data room preparation
### 4. **Partnerships External Ecosystem Building**
Collaborate with universities, innovation hubs, co-working spaces, and state/national startup missions
Forge partnerships with global accelerators, VCs, CVCs, and grant agencies
Align with diplomatic missions and trade bodies to help startups scale internationally
### 5. **Strategic Alignment with Investment Arm**
Work with the internal fund and PE/VC heads to align incubation outcomes with investment strategy
Track startup progress through risk-adjusted ROI dashboards, equity models, and impact matrices
Facilitate follow-on capital rounds or M\A/exit opportunities
## **Ideal Candidate Profile**
### Must-Have:
7 12 years of experience in startup incubation, venture ops, or acceleration programs
Prior experience leading a startup incubator, accelerator, or VC platform operations
Familiarity with compliance, IP, cap tables, ESOPs, and early-stage founder support
Strong network across startup ecosystems in India, UAE, Singapore, or similar hubs
### Good-to-Have:
Worked with Tier 1 incubators (e.g., T-Hub, NSRCEL, GSF, 500 Startups)
Exposure to both public and private incubation/funding models
Experience in building shared services, playbooks, or automation tools for startups

## **Compensation Structure**
Salary: 45 70 LPA (India)
**Performance Bonus**: Based on number of startups incubated + milestones achieved
**ESOPs**: Tied to venture scale, startup ROI, and ecosystem value
Infra travel budget + autonomy to hire core incubation/ops team
