Job Description

As the Head of Sales with the leading startup, your role will involve owning the end-to-end sales charter, from strategizing and generating pipelines to closing deals and realizing revenue. You will need to be a hands-on builder, creating scalable playbooks, leading high-velocity inside sales teams, and establishing strong partnerships across various sectors such as B2B SaaS, EdTech, BFSI, Real Estate, and eCommerce. **Responsibilities:** - Define and execute sales strategy for SME and mid-market clients. - Develop scalable outbound & inbound sales playbooks for high-volume, high-velocity growth. - Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing Inside Sales team. - Cultivate a culture of accountability, process rigor, and consistent overachievement. - Drive pipeline generation through outbound, cold-calling, performance leads, and partner-led motions. - Take ownership of revenue targets, forecast accuracy, and funnel health. - Build and manage strategic partnerships with ecosystem players such as platforms, agencies, and SaaS enablers. - Explore and operationalize new Go-To-Market (GTM) channels. - Implement sales operations discipline including CRM hygiene, metrics-driven reviews, and funnel optimization. - Collaborate closely with founders to align sales motion with broader organizational goals. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership, preferably in B2B SaaS, eCommerce, or fast-growth tech. - **Track Record:** Demonstrated success in building and scaling inside sales engines, including outbound/cold calling and performance leads. - **Exposure:** Experience in managing partner sales or field sales (FoS) is a bonus. **Required Skills:** - Strong operator with execution excellence, capable of building and scaling processes from the ground up. - Strategic thinker with a founder's mindset and deep sense of ownership. - Hands-on leader who excels in high-growth, ambiguous environments. **Preferred Skills:** - Prior experience in B2B SaaS, eCommerce, or fast-growth tech.
