This is a strategic leadership opportunity to lead manufacturing process engineering for EV cell and battery pack production at a state-of-the-art greenfield facility. The role demands deep expertise in automotive/EV manufacturing, lean principles, and technology integration.

Role Purpose:

This role will lead the end-to-end development, optimization, and control of manufacturing processes for EV cell and battery pack production. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational depth to establish world-class manufacturing capability while ensuring safety, quality, cost-efficiency, and readiness for SOP at a greenfield facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization:

• Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for EV cells and battery packs to enhance efficiency, quality, and output.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technology Integration:

• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies and automation to improve manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies into production.

Equipment Selection and Maintenance:

• Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to align manufacturing processes with product specifications.

Cost Management:

• Develop and manage budgets for process engineering projects and initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

Risk Management:

• Assess and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing processes – PFMEAs, Control and Reaction plans.
• Implement measures to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Process Engineering team.
• Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 18 years in automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing plant-level process engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cell manufacturing is

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical execution at scale.
