Role Overview

Head of PMS Distribution

CXO-track role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire PMS distribution business

  , including sales, operations, compliance, and partner management.
• Drive partnerships and

  empanelment with leading PMS providers

• Define and execute a

  pan-India distribution strategy

  targeting HNIs, NRIs, Family Offices, and IFAs/RIA partners.
• Own full

  P&L responsibility

  for the PMS vertical, including revenue targets, client acquisition, retention, and cost control.
• Build and mentor a high-performance PMS advisory team and ensure all team members are

  NISM Series XXI-A certified

  and

  APMI registered

  .
• Monitor product performance, asset allocation strategies, client suitability frameworks, and exit strategies.
• Ensure

  100% regulatory compliance

  with SEBI guidelines, APMI Code of Conduct, disclosure norms, and internal risk controls.
• Innovate investor engagement strategies: webinars, digital campaigns, portfolio review sessions, and educational content.
• Collaborate closely with leadership across Mutual Fund Distribution, AIFs, WealthTech, and Family Office teams for cross-sell synergy.

Eligibility & Required Qualifications

• 7+ years

  of experience in PMS distribution, private wealth, or HNI investment sales; leadership experience in a financial services firm is a must.
• Valid

  NISM Series XXI-A Certification

  and

  APMI Registration Number (APRN)

  .
• Postgraduate degree in Finance/Management (MBA, CFA, CFP, CWM preferred).
• Strong track record of scaling PMS AUM and managing partner relationships across multiple PMS houses.
• Deep understanding of PMS structures, investment philosophies (Value, Flexi-cap, Thematic), and risk-mitigation strategies.

• Strong knowledge of SEBI PMS regulations and ethical client practices.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
• Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CRM, portfolio analytics tools, and investor onboarding platforms.
