Job Title: Merchandise Head – YODA Lifestyle

Location: Mumbai

Type: Full-time

Salary: 25k to 35k - Depending on experience


About YODA Lifestyle:


YODA (Youth Organization in Defence of Animals) is a leading animal welfare NGO expanding its lifestyle vertical — YODA Lifestyle. This vertical merges compassion with creativity through thoughtfully designed merchandise that spreads awareness, drives donations, and celebrates the cause.


We’ve built a strong foundation through our existing product lines, pop-ups, and collaborations and now, we’re looking to scale


Role Overview:


We’re looking for a creative, growth-focused Merchandise Head to take complete ownership of YODA’s merchandise vertical — from concept and design to sales, digital presence, and inventory management.


The ideal candidate will have a background in fashion, clothing line design, branding, or merchandising, with prior experience in youth-centric brands such as Urban Monkey, Bewakoof, or The Souled Store.


Key Responsibilities:


 Lead the YODA merchandise line — oversee design, production, sales, and overall performance.

 Design new merchandise options that align with YODA’s brand values and appeal to a young, conscious audience.

 Manage partnerships with external brands for white-label and co-branded collaborations.

 Plan and execute pop-up stalls and events to drive brand visibility and sales.

 Handle inventory management — maintain stock levels, coordinate production, and track product demand.

 Oversee Shopify management — update listings, track sales, and ensure a seamless online shopping experience.

 Manage YODA Lifestyle’s social media presence — design engaging content, plan product campaigns, and drive digital sales.

 Collaborate with the social media team to align creative direction and promotional activities.

 Manage vendor relationships — ensure timely production, quality control, and cost efficiency.

 Drive buyer engagement through product innovation, promotions, and customer retention strategies.

 Track and analyze performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategies for sales and visibility.

So far, YODA Lifestyle has launched a range of products that combine style with purpose, collaborating with like-minded brands and creators to integrate their offerings into our merchandise line. Every purchase contributes directly to animal welfare and shelter operations, helping us continue our mission to protect and care for animals in need. We’ve built a strong foundation through product sales, pop-up events, and brand tie-ups, and now, we’re looking to scale this 3x–4x in the next 4–6 months.
