Hiring: Full-time senior veterinary surgeon (proficient towards ABC) 📍 Location: Goa, India 💼 Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,00,000/month (based on experience) 🏠 Stay provided close to the shelter 📆 5-day work week About Us: Founded in 2010, YODA is a registered animal NGO, committed to improving human-animal coexistence. From urgent medical aid for injured or abandoned animals to behavioural rehab and lifelong shelter for the elderly or disabled, our mission is care with compassion. We also run vaccination, sterilisation, and awareness and education drives. About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon with experience in ABC (Animal Birth Control) surgeries to join our team full-time in Goa. This is a hands on surgical role that will directly impact the lives of the many street animals we rescue, treat, and rehabilitate. Key Responsibilities: Conduct ABC surgeries and other routine veterinary procedures Administer medical treatment and oversee recovery Support vaccination and sterilisation initiatives Collaborate with the on ground care team to ensure timely medical and recovery Maintain medical records and contribute to improving care standards Qualifications: Veterinary surgery and veterinary medicine skills Experience in pet care and administering ,edicine Laboratory skills relevant to veterinary practice Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree Experience in animal welfare or a similar field is a plus If you’re looking for meaningful, hands on work with a passionate team and community impact, we’d love to hear from you!
