Primary Responsibilities and Duties: · Assist with the timely procurement and storage of veterinary supplies for all animal welfare units and the Sanctuary. · Maintain inventory records of the purchase and distribution of veterinary medicines, instruments, and other equipment. · Account for materials upon receipt from vendors, update registers, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. · Conduct monthly inventories of veterinary medicines and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. · Maintain records of all bulk purchases and the distribution of consumable items. · Assist the stores, accounts, and administration executive with maintaining accounting vouchers. · Ensure that the main office, guest room, and surrounding areas are kept neat and clean. · Supervise the maid and the gardener. · Check the identity of visitors and arrange meetings with relevant senior staff members before allowing anyone to enter the office. · Record the receipt of documents in the office and deliver them to the appropriate staff members within half an hour. · If a document is urgent or important, inform the concerned staff members immediately by phone if they are not present in the office. · Maintain the employee attendance register in the office and consult with the supervisor if any staff members do not report to work by 9:10 AM. · Ensure that there is sufficient drinking water, refreshments, and cleaning materials available in the office and guest room. · Visit banks, post offices, and markets as required. · Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or line manager.
