Head of Insurance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our Insurance Department. The Head of Insurance will be responsible for overseeing all insurance and TPA operations, ensuring timely claim processing, managing insurer relationships, and driving revenue optimization while maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the insurance & TPA team to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop strategies for efficient cashless and reimbursement claim processing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.
• Negotiate packages, tariffs, and empanelments with insurers and TPAs.
• Monitor claim approvals, denials, and settlements to minimize revenue leakage.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and healthcare insurance norms.
• Coordinate with clinical and billing departments for accurate documentation.
• Analyze claim data and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Resolve escalated issues related to insurance claims and patient grievances.
• Train and mentor the insurance operations team for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of insurance/TPA processes, policies, and regulations.
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in hospital information systems and insurance claim portals.
• Ability to manage high-value claims and resolve disputes effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
