Role Purpose
Lead and scale the Insurance vertical with full responsibility across:
Revenue Delivery, IRDA licensing, Operational Excellence, Service Governance, and Insurer Relationship Management for all mapped partners.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Sales Leadership (Life + Health)
Deliver monthly insurance activation from MFD across segments
Weekly funnel forecasting with stronger conversion levers
Drive LI & HL penetration inside MF partner base
Build multi-insurer product adoption by partner segment
Scale business across new & existing MFD cohorts
Insurance Channel Development
Grow IRDA licensed partner base in strategic territories in T30 locations
Build insurance capability for fresh & experienced partners
Implement product training frameworks (offline + digital)
Use Insurance NPS to measure channel preparedness & success
Strengthen needs-based selling & objection handling excellence
Operations & Service Excellence
End-to-end issuance, medicals, reconciliation & payout hygiene
SLA alignment with insurers TAT monitoring & escalation closure
Zero-defect onboarding & end-to-end policy journey governance
Ensure regulatory compliance aligned to IRDA guidelines
Stakeholder & Insurer Relationships
Lead joint business governance with insurer leadership teams
Evaluate & onboard new insurance products/partners based on mapped segments
Drive monthly & quarterly insurer review accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Product to expand funnels (offline + online)
Work with Ops / Support to reduce friction & improve adoption
Align internal teams for faster distribution scale-up
Must-Have Skills
Strong Insurance P&L leadership experience
Expertise in Life & Health product suitability
Proven ability to scale activation in B2B distribution ecosystem
MIS-driven decision making & governance discipline
Strong influence & relationship skills with insurer leadership
Excellent communication & stakeholder alignment
Experience
10-15 years in Insurance distribution / B2B leadership
Experience with multiple insurers Business + Operations
Strong exposure to inside sales + field enablement
Hindi / Regional languages plus for national scale
Graduate / MBA preferred
