Position Title: Head of Human Resources – India Location: India (flexible within major industrial or manufacturing hubs) Employment Type: Full-Time | Leadership Role Industry: Renewable Energy / Clean Technology / Industrial Manufacturing Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR leader to take full ownership of human resources operations across multiple manufacturing facilities and an engineering R&D center in India. This is a pivotal role responsible for aligning HR strategy with the rapid business expansion of a leading global energy company, ensuring talent readiness, operational efficiency, and cultural alignment with global values. The role requires a seasoned HR executive with a strong background in the energy or large-scale manufacturing sector, capable of leading in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a strong focus on operational excellence, labor relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Key Responsibilities: Lead the full HR function across multiple manufacturing plants and an engineering innovation center in India, managing 3000+ employees. Act as a strategic business partner to the India leadership team and global HQ, aligning HR strategy with long-term business objectives. Oversee all core HR functions, including talent management, organizational design, recruitment, labor compliance, performance management, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement. Drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives to support rapid business growth. Build and manage a strong HR team across sites, ensuring standardized processes and scalable practices. Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, industrial relations frameworks, and EHS-related human capital requirements. Foster a strong corporate culture across diverse operational environments. Qualifications: 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with proven success in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial manufacturing sectors. Experience managing multi-site operations (plants and engineering/technology teams). Demonstrated capability in leading through scale-up, transformation, or M&A environments. Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, union dynamics, and people management at scale. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills. Master's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Show more Show less
