Job Overview

Head of Accounts and Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Finalize accounts and audits in compliance with Local GAAP.
• Analyze and present financial performance metrics to the executive team.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax matters, including planning, compliance, and assessments.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury activities, and fund requirements.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including RBI, FEMA, and other applicable acts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Review and strengthen internal controls, compliance, and financial processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Mentor and guide the finance team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Chartered Accountant (

  CA

  ) with a minimum of

  8 years post-qualification experience

• Proven experience in handling audits, taxation, and compliance in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems and advanced skills in Excel, Word, and related IT tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
