In this context, we are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Head-Marine to join our dynamic team at Surat. The ideal candidate shall be leading the Marine function and will be responsible for safe operation of vessels & associated operations in Offshore Business Unit of Company. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for driving safe & smooth Marine operations with expert advice and technical due diligence for all marine operations.Establish an assurance plan for Hired Marine assets. Ensure Pre On-hire & Periodic Inspections are done in line with defined cycle.Periodic review/assessment of Marine Operations for the vessels engaged by Company.Finalizing Specifications & Scope for hiring of vessels for Production, projects and drilling support for Company assets.Ensure Tender process is executed in a timely manner for contract award and timely mobilization of services through new contract and as required by Company.Advise Company on need basis required advice on marine operations of Company which may include crude oil offtake operations and maintenance of SPM systems & accessories.Develop and update SOPs & Manuals on Marine Operations periodically or as deemed necessary.Ensure that all vessels are in compliance to statutory requirements with the Trading Certificates kept current & valid and contract terms are complied with.Liaison with statutory bodies on need basis as required by Company(Stakeholder management (liasoning with MOD, DG Shipping, etc).Responsible for managing marine budget for the company. Qualifications & Experience: Holding a Master F.G or Master NCV certificate with minimum 1 year experience of sailing as Master on board merchant vessels.10 yrs of experience in Offshore Operations. Experience in Oil & Gas sector, SPM Operations and DP vessels is desirable.Having experience in Oil terminal operations, Single Point Mooring Systems, Diving operations, Port management, Offshore support vessels operations and associated statutory compliances.Conversant with contract management, Budget preparations, Procurement, Asset optimization, cost reduction & HSE management system.Possesses a good knowledge of HSE standards, OISD & OCIMF guidelines, Codes and Practices and applicable legislation.Possess excellent analytical and leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical report writing capabilities.
