Job Description

Why this Role?

Ampin Energy Transition is accelerating India’s renewable energy journey with a diversified portfolio across solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects. As we expand our digital backbone, we seek a dynamic IT Head to lead enterprise technology initiatives, drive ERP onboarding, and ensure seamless software and program management across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to shape Ampin’s digital transformation and strengthen operational excellence across our pan-India portfolio.

How You Will Contribute:

ERP Management & Onboarding

Lead end-to-end ERP implementation and integration across business units.
Drive user onboarding, training, and adoption to maximize ERP efficiency.
Ensure ERP systems align with business processes and compliance requirements.

Software & Systems Management

Oversee enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Manage vendor relationships for software procurement, licensing, and upgrades.
Ensure system uptime, scalability, and data integrity across platforms.

Program & Project Management

Lead IT programs supporting business growth, including digital transformation initiatives.
Establish governance frameworks for project execution, timelines, and budgets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, HR, and operations teams to deliver technology-enabled solutions

Strategic Leadership

Define IT roadmap aligned with Ampin’s renewable energy mission.
Drive innovation in energy management systems, SCADA, and digital monitoring tools.
Ensure compliance with data protection, ESG, and corporate governance standards.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

12+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors.
Proven track record in ERP implementation (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent).
Strong expertise in program management, software lifecycle management, and cybersecurity.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
