Description

This is an organizational leadership role to head the EU ESMA account management team, which contributes significantly to the overall business. Key responsibilities include:Business Management: Manage a large existing seller base through a team of Account Managers, enabling them to grow their Amazon business by adopting various modules and levers. Own end-to-end business planning and drive leadership alignment.Stakeholder Management: Engage regularly with stakeholders across various levels to co-own goals, track progress, resolve conflicts, and align on strategic decisions.People Management: Lead a sizable organization, with a team of direct reports, responsible for career advancement, performance management, team structure, and culture.Thought Leadership: Partner with peers and teams to own key initiatives for the broader organization's development.Key job responsibilities

Scope

Lead the EU ESMA account management team, which is a significant contributor to the overall businessManage a large existing seller base through a team of Account Managers, enabling them to grow their Amazon business by adopting various modules and leversOwn key business metrics such as revenue, productivity, seller engagement, and expansion opportunitiesDrive end-to-end business planning and leadership alignment

Stakeholder Management

Engage regularly with stakeholders across various levels, including senior leaders, to co-own goals, track progress, resolve conflicts, and align on strategic decisionsCollaborate with internal teams like Legal, Finance, and Operations to achieve business objectives

People Management

Lead a sizable organization, with a team of direct reportsResponsible for career advancement, performance management, team structure, and culture development

Thought Leadership

Partner with peers and teams to own key initiatives for the broader organization's developmentContribute as a thought leader to drive organizational growth and innovation

Factors That Make This Role Complex

Requirement to have a deep understanding of various Amazon business verticals and their interdependenciesNeed to comprehend seller business models and market dynamics to drive effective decision-makingResponsibility to manage and influence senior stakeholders across regions, aligning conflicting priorities and driving alignment on strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree -Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers - Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders -Experience managing large multilayered teams, mentoring , performance management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing European sellers e-commerce business
  • Understanding of european market compliance, regulations etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing large multilayered teams, mentoring , performance management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hiring and retaining digital advertising teams experience
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning
