Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Define, implement, and optimize sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
  2. Drive client acquisition across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) and D2C channels (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
  3. Expand the company s footprint into new verticals, regions, and enterprise accounts.
  4. Ensure sustainable growth by focusing on long-term partnerships, not just one-time sales.
  5. Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic business opportunities (alliances, partnerships, channel sales).
  6. Build strong CXO-level relationships with enterprise clients and key decision-makers.
  7. Build, manage, and scale a high-performing sales team across business units.
  8. Mentor team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
  9. Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and incentive structures that drive motivation and excellence.
  10. Encourage a consultative, solution-selling approach over transactional sales.
  11. Identify, research, and qualify potential clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry channels.
  12. Work hand-in-hand with marketing, product, operations, and account management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  13. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client needs, market trends, and competitive gaps.
  14. Ensure smooth handovers from sales to account management for seamless client onboarding.
  15. Contribute to the overall business roadmap, influencing decisions around product innovation, service offerings, and market positioning.
  16. Act as a cultural leader who sets high standards of professionalism, integrity, and performance
  17. Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep our sales strategies sharp and relevant.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. 8+ years of proven experience in sales leadership, with at least 4 5 years in a senior management role.
  2. Strong knowledge of the e-commerce ecosystem (marketplaces, D2C platforms, digital marketing channels, etc.).
  3. Expertise in consultative selling, enterprise solutions, and long-term account management.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage decision-makers.
  5. Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  7. Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to guide sales strategies.
  9. MBA or Master s in Business/Marketing is preferred, but equivalent experience is valued.
