Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Multi-Cuisine Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee the preparation of diverse international cuisines, including but not limited to Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, and Middle Eastern dishes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, have a strong leadership presence, and ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute multi-cuisine menus, specials, and promotions.
  • Supervise and lead the kitchen staff, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen helpers.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Innovate and develop new recipes across various cuisines.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent).
  • Control food costs through inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff performance.
  • Collaborate with management on menu pricing and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
  • Handle guest feedback related to food quality and take corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Head Chef or Senior Chef specializing in multi-cuisine cooking.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Strong knowledge of various international cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with inventory, cost control, and kitchen budgeting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and extended hours when necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in fine dining, banquets, and high-volume kitchens.
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
