Position Overview

The Head Chef at Punjab Film City will lead and inspire the kitchen team to serve best quality and hygiene food for film crews, celebrities, and guests. This role involves menu innovation, maintaining high food safety standards, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring consistent quality across multiple dining outlets, from fine dining to large-scale banquets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and regularly update menus catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations across restaurant and banquet facilities.
• Ensure all food preparation meets the highest quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
• Plan, cost, and manage food production for large-scale events, film shoots, and festivals.
• Recruit, train, and mentor cooks, and kitchen staff.
• Foster a creative, disciplined, and collaborative kitchen culture.
• Develop and monitor food cost budgets, minimizing waste without compromising quality.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
• Implement safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in high-volume kitchens.
• Strong expertise in Punjabi cuisine, with proficiency in Indian cuisines.
• Proven experience managing large-scale banquets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with menu costing, kitchen budgeting, and food procurement systems.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
