Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst with 2 to 7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter requirement gathering and strong technology experience with policy administration solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead requirements definition for complex projects and multi-year strategic initiatives, translating business needs into clearly defined requirements.
Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.
Review completed business-functional requirements with key business users to gain consensus and final business approval.
Build strong relationships within the business units and support functions to understand business needs.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Participate in the development and planning of User Acceptance Testing activities, including test plans and scripts based on requirements.
Facilitate UAT execution and work with business leads and project managers to obtain user acceptance test sign-off.
Provide direction and leadership to one or more IT Business Analysts.
Travel as required, approximately 10%.

Job Requirements

Strong technology experience with policy administration solutions; experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter is strongly preferred.
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies, along with working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
Hands-on experience writing user stories and leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvement.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience operating and interfacing with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficient in using standard project and business tools, including SVN, JIRA, HPQC, Rally, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
Minimum one E2E implementation experience of Guidewire PolicyCenter is desirable.
Experienced with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an understanding of communication channels and the ability to escalate appropriately.
AINS 21222324 Certification or Guidewire Analyst Certifications are a plus.
