Group Head - Human Resources for a Chain of Corporate Hospitals (Healthcare)
Our Reputed Client is a leading cooperative hospital chain in the Northern India region, seeking an experienced Group Head of HR. This senior leadership role requires a strategic leader to manage all HR functions across our hospital network.
Job Description: Group Head - Human Resources (Healthcare Domain)
The Group Head of HR will be a key strategic partner, reporting directly to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in the healthcare industry, capable of leading and developing a high-performing HR team. The role demands an individual who can align people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational growth, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance in a complex and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the company's short-term and long-term business goals and mission.
· Talent Management: Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including strategic talent acquisition, recruitment for senior and critical medical roles, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
· Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent in the healthcare sector.
· Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive and ethical work culture. Address employee grievances, promote a healthy work-life balance, and implement engagement initiatives to ensure high morale and low attrition rates.
· HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices are in strict compliance with labor laws and healthcare regulations. Lead the HR function in maintaining accurate records and streamlined processes.
· Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement programs for professional development, leadership training, and continuous learning for clinical and non-clinical staff.
· HR Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data to provide insights and make data-driven decisions on workforce planning, talent retention, and HR effectiveness.
Required Skills & Experience
· Experience: A minimum of 15 years + of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of HR, Director of HR).
· Industry Expertise: Mandatory experience in the healthcare domain, specifically within corporate or multi-unit hospitals.
· Educational Qualification: A Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a large HR team.
· Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry-specific regulations.
· Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
· Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, from frontline staff to senior management.
