The Role:

The Graphic Designer will be the driving force behind Gutsy's brand identity and commercial visuals. Your primary responsibility is to work at the intersection of branding, sales, and design, ensuring every static visual asset—from digital ads to packaging—is meticulously crafted, high-quality, and optimized for maximum conversion and brand recall.


Key Responsibilities

1. Brand & E-commerce Asset Production:

  • Core Creative Production:

    Design and execute all high-quality static assets, including

    posters, infographics, carousels, and visual elements

    for social media and content marketing.
  • E-commerce & Advertising Creatives:

    Own the visual strategy and production for all paid media (banners, display ads, retargeting creatives) and e-commerce platforms (storefront designs, A+ content, banners, product listing images) to maximize click-through and conversion rates.
  • Packaging Design Support:

    Work on design elements for future

    product packaging, labels, and printed marketing collateral

    as the brand expands.
  • Founder Assets:

    Actively identify, conceptualize, and produce high-value graphic assets (infographics, visual quotes, structured data visuals) that elevate the Founder's professional presence.

2. Visual Strategy and Brand Guardianship:

  • Visual Trend Mastery:

    Maintain an expert-level understanding of digital design trends, e-commerce visual best practices, and brand aesthetics to ensure Gutsy remains modern and competitive.
  • Brand Consistency:

    Act as the guardian of the Gutsy brand, ensuring all visual communication is meticulously aligned with brand guidelines (colors, fonts, tone) while constantly innovating the visual language.
  • Visual Storytelling:

    Translate marketing objectives and scientific insights into clear, compelling, and accessible static visual concepts.

3. Execution and Quality Excellence:

  • Asset Quality:

    Ensure all deliverables are production-ready, high-resolution, and optimized for their intended output (web, mobile, or print).
  • Efficiency:

    Produce high-quality assets with fast turnaround times, maintaining a high volume to meet dynamic campaign and sales requirements.
  • Budget Optimization:

    Maximize the visual impact and quality of every design while operating within lean production budgets.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Internal Collaboration:

    Work seamlessly with the Content Strategist, Founder's Office, and the Nutrition Team to ensure the visual output is scientifically accurate, strategically sound, and commercially outstanding.
  • External Coordination:

    Coordinate with printers, packaging vendors, and external agencies to ensure flawless execution of print and physical assets.
  • Brief Development:

    Develop clear and crisp visual briefs for any supplementary video or graphic support required.
  • Video/Photo Support (A Plus):

    While the focus is static, any ability in

    basic photography, videography, or simple video editing

    is a significant advantage for content versatility.


Qualifications
  • Experience:

    2-5 years

    of professional experience in graphic design, specifically focused on

    D2C brand development and e-commerce marketing assets

    .
  • Technical Proficiency (MANDATORY):

    Expert knowledge and proven proficiency in

    Adobe Illustrator

    (for vector graphics, logos, and packaging) and

    Adobe Photoshop

    (for image manipulation, web assets, and mockups).
  • Portfolio:

    A strong, contemporary portfolio that showcases outstanding design thought, strong command over typography and color, and proven ability to create high-impact commercial assets.
  • Visual Strategy:

    Demonstrated ability to understand a target audience and use visual design to drive specific outcomes (conversion, brand recall, trust).
  • Mindset:

    Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a relentless desire to innovate and push the limits of digital aesthetics.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred).
