Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production & Editing Excellence:

  • High-Volume Editing:

    Execute fast-turnaround, high-volume video editing for social media platforms (Reels, Shorts, Stories, YouTube).
  • Trend Integration:

    Quickly identify and implement current viral trends, audios, editing techniques (jump cuts, subtitles, visual effects), and storytelling formats to maximize organic reach and engagement.
  • AI Tool Leverage:

    Actively identify and utilize

    AI-powered editing tools

    for tasks such as automated captioning, background removal, color correction, noise reduction, and potentially

    generative AI for background assets or quick visual enhancements

    , ensuring highly efficient production.
  • Visual Enhancements & Overlays:

    Create engaging text overlays, lower-thirds, and basic informational graphics (using standard editing software features) that clearly and compellingly communicate complex health concepts.
  • Platform Optimization:

    Ensure all video exports are optimized specifically for the unique aspect ratios, file sizes, and best practices of each platform (Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Founder Content:

    Take raw footage of the Founder and edit it into high-value, professional, and impactful assets for thought leadership and brand building.

2. Visual Strategy and Execution:

  • Video Strategy Input:

    Contribute creative and technical insights to the content strategy team, helping ideate video concepts that are feasible, trendy, and aligned with marketing goals.
  • Visual Storytelling:

    Use editing pace, sound design, and graphic placements to enhance the narrative and simplify scientific information into clear, digestible visual messages.
  • Quality and Consistency:

    Maintain a high standard of final video output that adheres to brand guidelines while constantly innovating the look and feel of our moving assets.

3. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Internal Collaboration:

    Work seamlessly with the Content Strategist, Founder's Office, and the Nutrition Team to ensure videos are scientifically accurate, strategically timed, and creatively outstanding.
  • Brief Management:

    Process clear and crisp video briefs and manage project timelines to deliver finished assets promptly.
  • Asset Management:

    Organize and maintain a clean, accessible library of all raw footage, project files, and final video assets.
  • Shooting Support (A Plus):

    Basic ability to handle camera equipment or shoot simple, high-quality mobile footage is a significant advantage.


Qualifications
  • Experience:

    1-3 years

    of professional experience as a Video Editor, specifically focused on

    social media, digital marketing, or D2C video content

    .
  • Technical Proficiency (MANDATORY):

    Expert knowledge and proven proficiency in

    Adobe Premiere Pro

    (or equivalent professional Non-Linear Editor). Demonstrated ability to work with and quickly adopt new

    AI-driven editing and generative tools.

  • Portfolio:

    A strong portfolio demonstrating a keen understanding of current social video trends, excellent pacing, and high-quality final execution.
  • Aesthetic & Storytelling:

    Strong sense of visual composition, sound design, and the ability to enhance narrative through editing choices.
  • Mindset:

    Creative, agile, highly detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines with a relentless focus on creating content that drives engagement metrics.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or a related field (preferred).
