As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations to ensure smooth and timely processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storing, and dispatching parts - Optimizing layout and space utilization in the warehouse for improved efficiency - Ensuring accurate order processing and alignment with stakeholders - Maintaining robust inventory systems for stock tracking and accuracy - Conducting regular audits and cycle counts - Managing slow-moving/obsolete stock to optimize inventory levels - Leading and developing on-roll/off-roll staff, setting goals, reviewing performance, and providing coaching - Ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards - Adhering to safety regulations, conducting audits, and taking corrective actions - Promoting a safety culture across teams - Implementing and managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation tools such as conveyors and sorters - Driving digital initiatives for operational excellence Qualification Required: - BE/B.Tech/MBA Critical Experience: - 12+ years in warehouse management, preferably in automotive spares - Experience managing large-scale warehouses (5 lakh sq. ft.) and multiple sites - Expertise in WMS, TMS, inventory systems, and logistics - Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to work under pressure Key Competencies: - Leadership & People Management - Inventory & Warehouse Management - Lean Management, TPM - Health & Safety Compliance - Problem Solving & Decision Making - Communication & Collaboration - Value Engineering & Analysis Systems Knowledge: - Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/SAP-EWM - Exposure to AI, Automation, Power BI, Qlik preferred Additionally, you will be expected to possess the following core skills: - Business Analytics - Customer Satisfaction - Service Orientation - Customer Sensitivity - Negotiation - Product Knowledge & Application - Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Transportation Planning - Network Management - Policies & Procedures Development - Logistics Management - Inventory Control - Fixed Asset Management - Cost Management - Cost Optimization - Inventory Management - Warehouse Management - System Design - Waste Management - Trend Analysis - Quality Management System (QMS) - Pricing Analysis - Performance Analysis - Staff Management - Capability Building - Employee Engagement - Organizational Development In summary, as a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, inventory control, people management, and health & safety compliance to ensure operational excellence.
