About The Role
We are looking for a
highly motivated Cloud Operations Administrator
with a strong foundation in
automation, runbook development
, and cloud monitoring across
AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments
. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment, demonstrates initiative, and is passionate about improving reliability through automation.
What You'll Do

Infrastructure Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor public and private cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, QCloud) for performance, availability, and security.
- Proactively respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and resolve or escalate as needed.
- Follow and improve runbooks (SOPs) to resolve recurring incidents quickly and consistently.
- Participate in 24x7 incident response rotation with a sense of urgency and accountability.

Automation & Runbook Development
- Automate operational tasks and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Build and maintain reusable runbooks for routine operations across cloud environments.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual intervention and increase system reliability.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Support
- Work closely with engineering, security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to address technical challenges.
- Assist in capacity planning, patching, upgrades, and cloud optimizations.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, including cloud migrations, new deployments, and disaster recovery testing.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, incident handling, and standard procedures.
- Analyze logs, trends, and performance metrics to recommend system improvements.
- Proactively suggest enhancements to monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud or Infrastructure Operations.
- Strong understanding of AWS and Azure environments; exposure to private cloud setups (e.g. VMware, OpenStack) is a plus.
- Experience with scripting/automation tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, etc.).
- Ability to handle incident triage and system troubleshooting effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of ITIL framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS SysOps Admin, Azure Administrator, etc.).
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Understanding of security protocols and cloud compliance standards.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.

Additional Information
- Shift: 24x7 rotation; must be open for working night/weekend shifts.
- Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in India. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
