GIT Hotel Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle hotel bookings for group trips (leisure groups, MICE events, and regular series bookings).
• Work with hotels and accommodation partners to get good rates, room blocks, and handle any special group needs.
• Make sure hotel bookings are confirmed on time and keep our system updated.
• Coordinate rooming lists, check-in details, and guest requirements with suppliers.
• Keep an eye on cancellation deadlines and hotel policies to avoid extra charges.
• Manage changes or cancellations based on client or hotel instructions.
• Help prepare final travel documents like hotel vouchers, room lists, and welcome letters.
• Support the sales and contracting teams by checking hotel availability and rates when needed.
• Stay in regular contact with hotels, clients, and our internal team for smooth operations.
• Solve any issues that may come up during the group's stay and ensure a good guest experience.
• Keep records of bookings, confirmations, and client feedback.
• Provide support in case of emergencies during a groups stay.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a similar field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably with a DMC or Hotel operations.
• Good understanding of hotels in the UAE, especially in Dubai.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using MS Office and booking systems.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Good at solving problems and making quick decisions.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing); other languages are a plus.
• Willing to work outside regular hours if needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using DMC back-end software or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with MICE and leisure group bookings.

Detail-oriented and focused on providing great service to clients.
