We're Hiring: General Manager Sales | PAN India | Food Services Industry

About the Role

General Manager – Sales

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Design and implement sales strategies to meet annual targets and organizational goals.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis and business expansion plans.
  • Lead PAN India sales initiatives for high-revenue clients across F&B services, including corporate, education, healthcare, and emerging verticals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Retain and grow large key accounts while penetrating new territories and sectors.
  • Drive client satisfaction and ensure tailored, value-driven catering solutions.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Lead Bid Management and RFP processes from strategy to closure.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Collaborate with marketing teams for campaign planning and brand visibility.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking platforms.
  • Conduct market mapping and support strategic expansion initiatives.

Budget & Revenue Oversight

  • Manage and optimize the sales budget while maximizing ROI.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and align resources to business objectives.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide skill-enhancing training.
  • Encourage proactive client engagement and a results-driven culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with culinary, operations, and logistics teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Align cross-functional efforts to exceed client expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:

    Minimum 14 years in B2B Sales & BD in Food Services, Catering, Hospitality, or Facilities Management.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Deep understanding of the South Market preferred.
  • Leadership:

    Proven ability to lead and mentor large sales teams.
  • Skills:

    Excellent communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, CRM proficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Personality:

    Results-driven, adaptable, and client-centric with strong interpersonal skills.
