We are looking for a highly aggressive, growth-driven FMCG Sales Leader to head the national sales operations for our Snacks, Namkeen, Rusk & allied food categories -

The ideal leader is someone who has

  • Scaled mid-size or upcoming snack brands into pan-India mass players,
  • Built large distribution networks from scratch,
  • Handled GT dominance + MT growth,
  • Managed large sales teams (400600 people),
  • Delivered consistent double digit growth,
  • AND maintained career stability in long-term leadership roles.

This is a high-impact position for someone who wants to build a legacy brand into a national powerhouse.

Key Expectations (Aggressive Growth Focus)

1. Rapid Distribution Expansion (North India Pan-India)

  • Build North India supremacy
  • Aggressively open new territories across West, East & South India.
  • Strengthen and onboard super-stockiest, distributors, sub-stockiest, wholesalers with strong ROI and fast stock movement.

2. Transform Smaller Brands into Powerful FMCG Players

  • Create a perennial, long-term growth engine similar to successful mid-sized Indian snack brands.
  • Develop aggressive product-placement strategies and penetration plans.

3. Lead & Expand a Large Sales Force

  • Manage a team strength of 500+ people including:
    • Regional Sales Managers
    • Zonal Sales Managers
    • Area Sales Managers
    • Territory Sales Executives

  • Set performance dashboards, review cycles, tour programs, beat plans, and incentives.
  • Attract senior sales talent using personal industry network.

4. Full Ownership of P&L, Margins & Costing

  • Own revenue, volume, pricing, trade spends, margins & profitability.
  • Reduce wastage, leakage, distributor claims.
  • Identify high-margin opportunities in new categories.

5. Competition & Market Intelligence

  • Track & counter competition in real time.
  • Drive strong visibility, merchandising, and retailer schemes.
  • Build aggressive GT push + MT expansion.

  • Bakery
  • Confectionery
  • General Trade (GT)
  • Modern Trade (MT)

Preferably from companies like

Haldirams, Prataap Snacks, Balaji Wafers, Bikaji, Bikanervala Foods, Yellow Diamond, PepsiCo (Snacks), ITC (Food), Britannia (Biscuits), Parle, Cremica, DFM Foods (CRAX), Uncle Chips (older background), or mid-sized regional powerhouses

Must have

  • Deep industry relationships with distributors, wholesalers & retailers
  • Ability to scale brands with limited marketing budget
  • Strong manpower management
  • North India experience is mandatory
  • Must have built or managed teams 400+
