Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Oversight:
- Lead and manage a diverse team of project engineers, M.E.P, Managers architects, Vendors and contractors to ensure seamless execution of horizontal land development projects, lagoons, Amenities and plotted developments.
- Oversee and ensure the timely completion of multiple area of projects, ensuring they meet budget, quality, and timeline targets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Work closely with senior management to define project objectives and ensure alignment with overall company goals and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that all project deliverables adhere to company quality standards and meet regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks, risks, or delays, and proactively manage risks associated with project execution.
Budget & Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor project costs, conduct regular cost evaluations, and provide recommendations to reduce costs without compromising on quality.
- Manage financial tracking and reporting to senior management.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources effectively across various project phases.
- Ensure the availability of qualified resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, for project execution.
Quality Control & Safety:
- Ensure the implementation of strict quality control measures across all project phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure that safety protocols and best practices are followed on-site to prevent accidents and mitigate risks.
Team Development & Mentorship:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project teams.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and engineers to build a high-performing project team.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 18 years of experience in project management, with a focus on horizontal land development, plotted developments, lagoons, Clubhouse, Landscape, Amenities, High end Interior finishing, Infrastructure work and similar large-scale construction projects.
- At least 10 years in a leadership role, with hands-on experience in managing high-value projects.
- Proven track record in managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Skills & Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, Sequence of Activities, project management processes, MEP, Finishing, Villa work and best practices.
- Expertise in land development, plotting, grading, Amenities, Landscape, High end interior finishing, lagoon construction, and infrastructure development.
- Strong understanding of relevant construction software, project management tools, and ERP systems.
- Proven expertise in managing large project budgets, vendor contracts, and subcontractor relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Relevant safety and quality certifications will be an advantage.
