Role Overview

General Manager – Operations

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations across all production lines
• Ensure production targets are met with optimal quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and resource utilization

Data-Driven Optimization

• Use data analytics to monitor KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions
• Leverage insights to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance decision-making

Process Excellence

• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations
• Ensure zero-defect manufacturing and adherence to quality standards
• Maintain compliance with IMS, safety, and regulatory requirements

Team & Culture

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business goals

Systems & Tools

• Utilize

  SAP Business One (Production Module)

  for planning, tracking, and reporting
• Ensure accurate data capture and reporting across all operational functions
  

What You Bring

• B.Tech/M.Tech

  in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering

• 15+ years

  of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in industrial or engineering products
• Strong understanding of modern manufacturing systems and process optimization
• Experience in using data analytics tools and dashboards for operational insights
• Familiarity with

  SAP Business One

  is a strong advantage
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
