Garment Production and QC Head

Garment Production & QC Head – Vailos, Ahmedabad

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in garment production management and quality control

• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, & lean principles

• Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)

• Hands-on knowledge of European product quality, EN standards and European markets

Key Performance Indicators:

1 Closely Monitor factory production schedules: Consistently track production progress, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines. Address production issues, delays, or quality concerns promptly. Coordinate with factory teams:

- Supervise production line operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production targets.

- Conduct daily team meetings to discuss production progress, address concerns and set goals.

2 Implement quality control measures: Ensure adherence to quality standards, inspect finished goods, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate on production planning, sampling, and quality control. Implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

3 Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate and resolve production planning and control issues, identifying underlying causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

4 Manage inventory and materials: Understand and maintain the fabric & trims requirements for different garment styles. Oversee inventory to ensure timely production.

5 Implement and maintain production metrics and KPIs: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs): Manage production operations for a 99% OTIF (On Time, In Full Deliveries) - Includes managing the factory schedules, proactive look forward and good supply chain and customer service.

6 Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with design, supply chain, sales and marketing teams in India and the UK, to align production schedules with business objectives.

4. Critical thinking & problem solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, make informed decisions, and develop creative solutions.

Qualification:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Garment Production Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is a must
