Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Game Artist to support the visual production of slot games. This role requires strong artistic skills, an understanding of game-ready asset creation, and the ability to work closely with the Principal Artist, Concept Artists, and Art Director.

The Game Artist will contribute to both art production and asset delivery, ensuring high-quality, technically accurate assets are prepared for Animation, VFX, and development teams. While the primary focus is on production and asset finalization, the ability to create concept art will be considered a valuable advantage.

This role is key to maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency across the art pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Art Production & Asset Preparation:

• Produce high-quality game art, including backgrounds, UI elements, popups, icons, and supporting visuals.
• Participate in the art pipeline from rough sketches to polished final assets when required.
• Prepare fully layered, animation-friendly PSDs for downstream teams.
• Ensure all assets meet technical, aesthetic, and compatibility standards.

2. Cross-Department Collaboration:

• Work closely with Principal Artist, Concept Artists, and Art Director to maintain visual consistency.
• Collaborate with Animation and VFX teams to ensure assets follow required specifications for optimal use.
• Coordinate asset delivery with developers, ensuring formats, naming conventions, and slicing meet engineering needs

3. Quality Control & Review:

• Support review cycles with the Art Director and Principal Artist.
• Implement feedback quickly while maintaining quality.
• Ensure all assets adhere to established visual guidelines and slot-game art standards.

4. Delivery & Production Support:

• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all assigned assets.
• Handle slicing, formatting, and preparing assets for integration.
• Manage task priorities based on production timelines.
• Assist with exporting and versioning to keep the pipeline organized.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certification in: Game Art, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Digital Media Arts Or any equivalent discipline
• 4 to 5 years of experience in game art production (slot-game experience is a bonus).
• Strong understanding of production workflows and asset preparation for games.

Art & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suites and other equivalent industry-standard software.
• Strong sense of colour, lighting, composition, and visual clarity.
• Experience creating UI elements, icons, popups, and production-ready assets.
• Understanding of animation-friendly and VFX-friendly layering.
• The ability to create concept art is a strong added advantage.

• Ability to take direction and work closely with the Art Director and Principal Artist.
• Clear communication with Animation, VFX, and development teams.
• Good problem-solving skills, and consistency in quality.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability during shifting priorities.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in slot game art or casual/mobile game art.
• Knowledge of PIXIJS/HTML5 art integration pipelines.
• Understanding of motion graphics for popups and win animations.
• Experience in designing artwork specifically prepared for Spine2D animation pipelines.
• Any prior hands-on experience with Spine2D is a plus.
