Open-World Art & Environment Consultant (Contract Role)

Chainscript Labs is seeking a highly experienced Art and Environment Consultant to

provide expert insights, feedback, and direction on open-world game production

pipelines. This role focuses on refining our workflows, art direction, and asset creation

processes for large-scale, immersive game environments.

You will collaborate with our internal art and design teams to review and advise on

topics such as terrain creation, environment and biome design, lighting systems,

optimization, and character development. Your guidance will help shape our standards

for visual quality, performance, and production efficiency across open-world projects.

Key Areas of Consultation:

● Open-world environment composition, biome planning, and lighting design

● Best practices for modular asset creation and optimization in Unreal Engine 5

● Realistic character production pipelines compatible with real-time rendering

● Art direction, visual storytelling, and world identity development

● Performance optimization, streaming, and technical art workflows

Ideal Background:

● Proven experience in AAA or large-scale open-world game development

● Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 workflows, Nanite, Lumen, and World

Partition

● Strong artistic judgment combined with technical awareness

● Ability to advise on scalable art pipelines and production collaboration

This is a consultant-based role, ideal for senior professionals who enjoy shaping

creative and technical vision for next-generation interactive worlds.
