Game Artist

As a Game Artist at Light & Wonder, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning slot games for the global iGaming market. Your responsibilities will include: - **GAME ASSET CREATION** - Design and develop high-quality 2D assets like symbols, icons, characters, and UI elements for slot games. - Create visually appealing concepts that align with the art style and game theme. - Optimize art assets for various platforms and screen resolutions. - **ANIMATION 2D** - Produce engaging 2D animations and effects using Spine 2D and Adobe After Effects. - Develop transitions, win celebrations, and UI animations to enhance player experience. - Assist in integrating animations into the production pipeline. - **COLLABORATION & INTEGRATION** - Collaborate with developers, technical artists, and game designers for seamless art integration. - Troubleshoot and resolve art-related issues during development and QA phases. - Provide mentorship and feedback to junior artists when necessary. - **CREATIVE DIRECTION & QUALITY CONTROL** - Maintain high visual quality standards across all art assets. - Ensure consistency in color, style, and branding across multiple slot titles. - Contribute creative ideas for new game themes, symbols, and visual storytelling. **REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS** - 4-5 years of experience in the Slot/iGaming industry as a Game Artist or Core Artist. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects) and Spine 2D for animations. - Strong understanding of game art pipelines, optimization, and formats. - Good grasp of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability. **GOOD TO HAVE** - Experience in concept art or illustration for slot/casino games. - Familiarity with VFX creation and particle systems. - Prior experience in 3D assets creation.
