Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Software Engineer Consultant/Expert

to join a high-performing product team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality analytic solutions. This role involves the full software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and ongoing support/maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Requirements Management: Contribute to or lead the creation of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases. Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies.
• Documentation: Author technical design and process documentation.
• Software Development Lifecycle: Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions in collaboration with product owners, architects, and other engineers.
• Operations & Maintenance: Handle access authorizations, password management, metrics generation, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Incident Management: Participate in or lead problem-solving, root cause analysis, and service request resolution.

Desirable Experience

• 8+ years in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in GCP/AWS/Azure
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to Machine Learning, LLMs, or data analytics
• Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Rally
• Strong understanding of software craftsmanship principles (XP, TDD, clean code)
