Location: Thiruvananthapuram
Experience: 3–5 years (flexible for the right candidate)
Product: B2B SaaS platform for Yoga institutes, teachers & communities

What you’ll do

• End-to-end ownership (SaaS features):
• Work closely with the core team in
• analysis, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance
• of product features.
• SaaS product engineering:

Build reliable, secure, multi-user features (authentication, roles/permissions, scheduling, payments/integrations, dashboards) suitable for a growing SaaS platform.

• Back-end development (Java/Spring Boot):
• Build RESTful APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic, validations, and integrations.
• Database design & optimization (MySQL):
• Design and optimize schemas and queries in MySQL.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Front-end integration:
• Implement responsive UIs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax.
• Ensure smooth flows and good UX in collaboration with the core/product team.
• Quality & stability:
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Debug issues across the stack and improve performance and reliability.
• Customer & product focus:
• Advocate for the customer – think from the Yoga teacher/institute perspective.
• Suggest improvements to flows, UX, and feature design based on real usage.
• Continuous improvement:
• Stay updated on Java/Spring, front-end best practices, and SaaS architecture.
• Recommend improvements to architecture, tooling, and processes.

Must-have skills & experience

• 3–5 years of experience building web applications in Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java, Spring Boot (REST APIs, configuration, application structure).
• MySQL – schema design, joins, indexes, query optimization.
• Good front-end skills:
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax.
• Proficiency with version control systems:
• SVN, Bitbucket, Git
• (at least one in depth, others as exposure).
• Experience in building and maintaining products (not just short projects) – understanding releases, iterations, and production support.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture, security basics, and performance.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication and comfort working in a small, core team.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
