About Lexi:

Lexi builds AI powered legal associates that automate end-to-end legal workflows (client intake, drafting, research, case management). We’re scaling quickly with law-firm and enterprise pilots.

What you’ll do:

• Ship product features across our stack: React/Next.js (TypeScript) + Tailwind on the front end; Python (FastAPI) microservices on the back end.
• Build secure, reliable APIs and data pipelines on Postgres (+ pgvector/Pinecone/Qdrant) with Redis for caching/queues.
• Integrate LLMs for retrieval-augmented generation, document understanding, and agentic workflows; own evals, latency, and guardrails.
• Design clean domain models and write tests (unit/integration) with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker).
• Improve developer experience, observability, and reliability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerts).
• Collaborate with design, PM, and legal SMEs to translate real user pain into fast, iterative releases.
• Champion privacy/security by design (role-based access, encryption, audit logs) and performance at scale.
  

You might be a fit if you have:

• Experience building AI applications and have worked on RAG/LLM tooling (OpenAI/Mistral, LangChain/LlamaIndex), vector databases, prompt/eval frameworks
• Strong with TypeScript + React/Next.js and modern state/data fetching patterns.
• Solid backend fundamentals in Python/FastAPI (or Node/Express) and SQL schema design.
• Fluency with Postgres, REST/GraphQL, and building well-tested services.
• Comfort with Docker, basic cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), and CI/CD.
• Product mindset: bias to ship, instrument, and iterate with users.
  

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with role-based permissions, tenanting, and secure file processing.
• Legal tech, fintech, or other workflow-heavy SaaS background.
