The Economic Transformation Council is a nationally coordinated, globally connected platform committed to unlocking structural transformation across industries, institutions, and communities. It operates through specialized programs including talent development, environmental restoration, industry revival, and policy frameworks that bridge public and private collaboration.
In line with its decentralized governance strategy, ETC is launching State Governing Council Bodies (SGCBs)—starting with a pilot in Tamil Nadu for FY 2025–2026—to engage regional leadership in strategic implementation, stakeholder mobilization, and public policy innovation.
As a Founding Member of the Tamil Nadu Steering Committee, you will be part of a pioneering team tasked with shaping the first state-level execution framework of the Economic Transformation Council (ETC). This is a strategic and honorary role, designed for committed professionals, thought leaders, and change agents who are passionate about driving inclusive and sustainable development across Tamil Nadu.
This role offers you the opportunity to represent your district or functional sector, contribute to ground-level activation of ETC’s national programs, and guide the foundational structure of the upcoming State Governing Council (SGC). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, policy advisors, and community stakeholders to ensure successful roll-out, monitoring, and impact of ETC’s initiatives.
This appointment will serve as a model for replication across other Indian states, positioning Tamil Nadu as a benchmark in collaborative economic transformation.
