Job Overview

We are seeking a Floor Manager to oversee daily production activities, ensure smooth workflow, maintain quality standards, and lead the shop floor team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience managing operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on the production floor to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Manage the daily workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor manpower attendance, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and timely reporting of any operational issues.Collaborate with the Quality Control and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and defects.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor floor staff to improve skills, efficiency, and teamwork.
• Prepare daily production reports and escalate any bottlenecks or issues to senior management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Floor Manager or Production Supervisor in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using basic computer applications and production tracking tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or relevant field is a plus.
• Experience in elevator or heavy equipment manufacturing is an advantage.
