Floor Manager

Patient Flow & Service Management

• Oversee smooth patient flow from registration to consultation, diagnostics, billing, and pharmacy.
• Coordinate between OPD, diagnostics, operation theatre (OT), pharmacy, and optical departments for seamless service.
• Monitor patient waiting times and resolve bottlenecks or delays promptly.
• Ensure patients receive proper guidance and assistance throughout their hospital visit.

Staff Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise front office executives, floor coordinators, and housekeeping staff.
• Assign and monitor daily duties and ensure adherence to work schedules.
• Conduct floor briefings and communicate daily targets or updates.
• Support HR in managing attendance, punctuality, and discipline of staff under purview.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and patient safety on the hospital floor.
• Ensure all consultation rooms, waiting areas, and diagnostic sections are ready for operation each day.
• Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping for quick resolution of any facility issues.
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH standards, and infection control guidelines.

Patient Experience & Feedback

• Handle patient complaints or grievances courteously and ensure quick resolution.
• Monitor feedback from patients and take corrective actions.
• Strive to maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and service quality.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily reports on patient volume, staff performance, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with administration and management for continuous process improvement.
• Participate in regular review meetings and implement improvement plans.
