Key responsibilities for an FIT Operations Head might include:

Managing Operations:
Ensuring smooth execution of all travel arrangements for individual travellers, including accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Supplier Relationships:
Building and maintaining relationships with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and local service providers to ensure high-quality offerings for independent travellers.
Team Leadership:
Leading a team of travel agents, coordinators, and support staff who help plan, book, and manage FIT trips.
Customer Experience:
Ensuring travellers have a seamless and personalised experience, from initial booking to post-trip follow-up.
Market Knowledge:
Staying updated on trends and new offerings in the travel industry, especially those relevant to independent travellers, like emerging destinations and unique experiences.
Profitability:
Managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations, and finding ways to improve profitability without compromising service quality.
Problem Resolution:
Handling any issues that arise during a travellers journey and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
