Financial Systems Analyst

Job InformationThe Financial Analyst is responsible for creating and assessing financial models used to forecast revenue, expenses and profitability for new and existing partners at Pattern.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, potential acquisition, new products, and growth initiatives by developing financial projection modelsDevelop detailed financial forecasts of the financial statements, incorporating key financial and operational metricsPrepare sensitivity analysis impact on revenue, expenses and profitability by modeling changes in key variablesDecision support for business stakeholders through financial and operational ad hoc reporting and analysisPrepare and distribute financial analysis and reporting packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field2-5 years of experience in financial analysis and modelingStrong functional expertise in Finance and demonstrated capability of working in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced analytical and financial modeling skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsImpeccable attention to detail and ability to self-check workAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of how to work with large amounts of data to develop scalable financial reporting solutionsExceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work cross functionallyExceptional Excel, VBA, MS Office, Google Sheets skillsEcommerce industry experience at global organizationExperience with Cloud-based planning systems, NetSuite, Tableau, UiPathExceptional Excel, MS Office, Google Office skillsExperience working with ERP and planning software tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive, NetSuite)Physical DemandsManual Dexterity: Typing or otherwise working primarily with hands or fingers in an office environment.Sedentary work: Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including computers, papers, and other general office equipment.Seeing: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word in activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately.Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, by phone or in person.
