This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 5 yearsLocation: BengaluruJobType: full-timeThe FP&A Specialist will play a critical role in driving accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance by leading complex financial analyses, ensuring data integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on month-end close experience, and the ability to interpret complex financial and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation, validation, review, approval, and reconciliation of complex financial statements and management reports.
Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps against budgets and forecasts.
Manage month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting accuracy.
Analyze, interpret, and mitigate compliance risks by applying accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance on new and existing accounting, reporting, and compliance matters.
Lead the design, enhancement, and deployment of advanced financial models, planning tools, and reporting processes.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, controls, and data quality.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Hands-on experience with data collection, financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation with high attention to detail.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
